In The Beginning

It was cold, it was (at times) very wet, and it sure was windy!... but that didn't stop intrepid Land Rover owners from turning up en masse from all over Australia to the beautiful township of Cooma in NSW.

Wisely the decision had been made to not fill the center of the showground with all the visitor's vehicles, so the combination of a slow start due to the weather and a slightly smaller turn out of exhibitors, meant that for a few days the main arena looked a little light on. But that wasn't the full picture, as all the camping sites in and around the showground had been booked out for days, and were filled with Land Rovers of all vintages (including their owners and friends of all vintages).

These loyal and intrepid travelers were tucked in an around the showground, enjoying the camaraderie, robust discussions, the fire pits, and some tall stories together over the 4 day event.

And for those that wanted to see some of the great country in and around Cooma over the 4 days, the Cooma Car Club with the Land Rover Organising Committee, put together some spectacular short day trips that were thoroughly enjoyed by all participants.

In no particular order....
